5131 Coherent Access Platform
As multiple system operators (MSOs) upgrade their networks to digital technologies at the network edge, they’re running into fiber shortages in some markets. The 5131 Coherent Access Platform (5131-CAP) solves this problem with support for technologies like remote-PHY devices (RPDs) and optical line terminals (OLTs). With reduced fiber requirements, MSOs can maximize network efficiency and sophistication.
