Research from Telindus and Ciena shows that more than half of organizations could be vulnerable to data breaches and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) non-compliance risks. The question for organizations is whether their WAN security meets the required GDPR standards. If a company uses managed services to connect its locations and access cloud services, it needs a provider that takes WAN security seriously. And if that company manages its own connections, it must consider whether in-flight data is encrypted and secure as it travels the WAN.
