Ciena’s solution provides immediate resistance against the threat of quantum computers with Waveserver®, powered by high-performance quantum-safe optical encryption scaling up to 1.6 Tb/s. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms and standard open APIs are supported for communication with any external quantum key distribution (QKD) system.
