The 5164 is a hardened 800 Gb/s router with dual-redundant power and MEF 3.0 compliance. This compact 1 RU access and aggregation device offers 32 x 1/10/25GbE ports (supporting Ethernet and Enhanced Common Public Radio Interface [eCPRI]) and 4 x 100/200GbE fixed ports with coherent WaveLogic™ 5 Nano (WL5n) pluggable optics, enabling deployment across mobile transport networks—including 5G—and enterprise use cases, all on a common infrastructure.
