WaveLogic™ 5 Nano (WL5n) 100G–400G Standard, Extended Temp, and Enhanced QSFP-DD Transceivers incorporate Ciena’s advanced coherent optical technology to deliver the power, space, and modularity benefits of pluggables with a design and form factor optimized for 400G packet transport. The WL5n Standard QSFP-DD supports interoperable 400G single-span data center interconnect (DCI) and multi-span metro packet transport along with 100G/200G transport in access and metro applications. This pluggable is also available with the WL5n 100G–400G Extended Temp QSFP-DD to support exterior deployments. Providing higher performance, the WL5n Enhanced QSFP-DD additionally supports extended-reach metro/regional packet transport.
