Ashley Wyand is the Director/ Global Head of Security GRCT (Governance/ Risk/ Compliance Readiness/ Customer Trust) at Ciena. She has been working in cyber security for the last 12 years, with a specific focus in governance, compliance, customer & sales enablement, and risk management. Ashley has a particular passion for helping enable non-technical teams and customers to understand security principles, frameworks, and postures, which comes from her various experiences in IT, security, and network operations customer repair.
When not working, she spends her time either at the beach in Charleston, SC or baking, running, and enjoying quality time with her puppies, Jingles and Laddy, and her fiancé and (soon to be) stepchildren in Western NY.
