OTN Speedwagon band featuring Ciena talent to perform at conference reception
OFC 2017 attendees at the Los Angeles Convention Center can not only learn more about Ciena®'s (NYSE: CIEN) latest networking and software innovations, but also ‘rock out’ with its award-winning band, OTN Speedwagon. A former winner of the FORTUNE Battle of the Corporate Bands in 2013, the group is comprised of 11 employees from around the world with a variety of roles in the company and a love of music.
Additionally, Ciena experts will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate how Ciena is redefining the way networks are built to prepare for the next wave of bandwidth growth. At its booth (#2146) and Innovation Lab, a big rig truck fully equipped with the latest next-generation networking innovations, Ciena will show how its industry-leading portfolio supports the shift to high-capacity, automated networks for today’s on-demand world by:
- Dramatically improving transport economics with twice the capacity across any distance via WaveLogic Ai coherent optics, shown for the first time in both the 6500 and Waveserver Ai platforms;
- Increasing network agility and operational efficiencies with a single, integrated, lifecycle network and service management system for Ciena domains using Ciena’s Blue Planet Manage, Control and Plan (MCP);
- Powering better business decisions across multiple domains with big data-driven insights via Blue Planet Analytics (BPA);
- Accelerating innovation and solution integration via Ciena’s Emulation Cloud virtual lab simulators;
- Simplifying networks with high-capacity convergence offered by Ciena’s multi-Terabit 6500 platform; and
- Providing simple, scalable, flexible data center interconnect with Ciena's Waveserver.
