The Neutron 800ZR Coherent ASIC is a 3 nm digital signal processor (DSP) based on sixth-generation WaveLogic™ technology. Designed for metro DCI environments, this device delivers high-capacity, power-efficient connectivity for links up to 800 Gb/s across distances from 80 to more than 120 kilometers.
The Neutron 800ZR enables single-carrier 800 Gb/s transmission and supports 100/200/400/800 GbE clients through advanced equalization and extensive performance monitoring. With full common management interface specification (CMIS) compliance and long-reach client performance, the ASIC addresses the unique requirements of geographically distributed AI factories and other bandwidth-intensive applications.
By combining low power consumption, low latency, and support for industry standards—including OIF 800ZR and IEEE 802.3ck—the Neutron 800ZR provides a standards-aligned, scalable foundation for metro DCI deployments.
