Matt Bolig is the Senior Advisor for Product and Technology Marketing at Ciena, where he leads the marketing strategy for the company’s intra-data center interconnect solutions. His current focus includes collaborating with product development and research teams to enhance Ciena’s hyperscale network offerings. By tailoring these solutions to specific market needs and advancing the development of highly efficient technologies, Matt helps drive innovation in next-generation data center networks.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing and product management within the data center networking industry, Matt brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Before joining Ciena, he held leadership positions in product line marketing at Vitesse, Broadcom, and Inphi. In these roles, he specialized in developing strategies, aligning cross-functional teams, and translating customer needs into product value—ultimately driving adoption and profitability.
He holds an MBA from UCLA as well as a BSEE from Fresno State.
