About Grant Hoffman
Grant Hoffman is Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Ciena, responsible for leading the company’s global supply chain strategy, operations, and execution to support scalable growth, resiliency, and customer delivery. He has more than 25 years of global leadership experience across supply chain, operations, and portfolio management, including leading large-scale transformations and advancing digital supply chain capabilities.
Prior to joining Ciena, Grant served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Solutions Delivery for HP, where he led a global organization supporting customer delivery and service, field and channel, and operations. He joined HP through its $3.3B acquisition of Poly, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations and a global digital transformation to enhance efficiency and performance across a complex, high-volume hardware business.
Earlier in his career, Grant served as Vice President and Head of Global Supply Chain for Lenovo Mobile. He also held leadership roles at Google—where he was part of the team that launched the first U.S.-based smartphone manufacturing facility—as well as at Motorola, Continental AG, and Del Monte Foods.
He serves on advisory boards for the Institute of Business Forecasting (IBF), the University of Wisconsin's Erdman Center for Technology Strategy and Product Management, and Northern Illinois University's Operations Management department.
Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
