Malcolm Loro is Senior Director for North America and CALA Field Marketing at Ciena, leading the marketing strategy and execution in these markets. This includes Account Based Marketing to develop and implement highly customized campaigns for key accounts, and Channel Marketing to build awareness, create demand and drive revenue with strategic Ciena partners.
Previously, Malcolm was Director of Ciena’s Industry Marketing team, with responsibility for developing business and technology content and thought leadership to address key operational and IT challenges, such as application performance, business agility and information security, in Enterprise and Government vertical markets.
Malcolm holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada and has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry having held a range of engineering, product management and marketing positions with Nortel Networks and Catena Networks prior to joining Ciena in 2004.
