Training courses should be set up through the customer's program manager or account manager or online via the Customer service center.
Ciena recommends setting maximum class sizes to ensure students have adequate access to equipment for hands-on training. Please refer to the course outline for recommended class sizes at both Ciena training centers and customer sites.
Yes. Ciena offers wide variety self-paced online classes for individual students as well as virtual classroom settings for individual or groups of students. Often times, students will opt for these classes as pre-requisites for classroom based courses.
Notify the Training Coordinator, as soon as possible if a student cannot attend a class or if class must be canceled. If cancellation by a prospective student is made at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled class, no cancellation fee is charged. Cancellations received less than 10 working days prior to the class are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are subject to the full tuition charge. In order to receive proper credit; make sure you receive a cancellation number. Ciena Training and Documentation Department reserves the right to cancel a class if the minimum number (4) of students do not register for a particular class, prior to one (1) week of the schedule course.
