CIENA ENTERS CHINA THROUGH AGREEMENT WITH BEIJING IDN
Linthicum, MD — 06/25/2001Ciena Corporation (Nasdaq: CIEN), a global provider of intelligent optical networking systems and software, today announced a sales agreement with Beijing IDN (CEC/IDN) at a signing ceremony at the Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.
CEC/IDN plans to deploy Ciena's industry-leading MultiWave CoreDirector™ and MetroDirector K2™ products, and has already placed purchase orders with Ciena.
