Ciena's annual shareholder meeting was held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 3:00pm ET.

As of the record date of January 19, 2007 , there were 85,064,429   shares eligible to vote. Proxies representing 73,944,640 shares, or 86.9 percent of the eligible voting shares were represented at the meeting. The results for each proposal were as follows:
